Survive a Million Monkeys Guides Hub

Six task guides: the first lobby session, code claims, Gem prices, weapon DPS, wave movement, and how a squad differs from the server cap.

How to use the guides

Read the first session before spending Gems. Then open the price guide, because the code pile does not unlock the expensive classes. Use the weapon guide when you are choosing a gun, and the wave guide when the last run failed in the fight itself.

Which Survive a Million Monkeys guides are published?

First session: tutorial, lobby, and the opening waves

Finish the island tutorial, learn the published keys, claim the lobby rewards, and enter the first waves with a class and gun you already own.

Open guide

Redeem codes and fix a failed claim

Use the lobby Codes button after the tutorial, enter the three published strings exactly, and keep the purple gift box separate from those codes.

Open guide

Gems and unlock order from the published prices

The opening codes plus the gift box total 13,000 Gems on paper, which is still 2,000 short of Medic and a bad trade for the cheap Tier 1 guns.

Open guide

Weapon tiers, Cash climbs, and which Gem guns beat the free one

Press V to climb weapon tiers with Cash, then use Gems only when the listed DPS beats the free gun already in that tier.

Open guide

Survive the wave: lanes, monkey types, and skill timing

Hold a narrow lane, shoot the monkey blocking the exit, and spend Cash on the failure that ended the last wave.

Open guide

Play together without confusing the server cap with your squad

A snapshot lists 25 players on the server, while the match guide pays a group of four. Fight as the squad beside you and call the exit before the blast.

FAQ

Survive a Million Monkeys guide questions

Is Survive a Million Monkeys free?

It is a free Roblox horde game by gorilla warfare. You pick a class, shoot waves of monkeys, spend Cash during the run, and spend Gems in the hub on classes and guns. Optional purchases exist, including a premium RPG listing and the Gunslinger bundle.

What are you trying to do in a run?

The official description asks how long you can survive the monkey horde, with friends, guns, classes, and a survivor leaderboard. A run ends in defeat once the group can no longer hold. One guide says a match continues until all four players are defeated and then pays each player from their own contribution. A separate October 5, 2026 snapshot lists a 25-player server cap. Those two numbers are not the same fact.

Which codes have a published reward?

The Roblox description prints MONKEYS for 1,000 Gems. Guide listings through October 8, 2026 also report SURVIVE for 1,000 Gems and 1MVISITS for 10,000 Gems. No expired code has been published. A October 8 Destructoid line also names 5MVISITS for an unstated Gem amount, while other same-day lists still show only the three codes above, so 5MVISITS is not in the active table.

Are Gems and Diamonds two currencies?

Gems are the hub currency used for classes, guns, and later upgrades. Cash is spent inside a run. One class write-up calls the same class prices Diamonds. Codes, the official description, and the weapon price list use Gems, so this wiki uses Gems for those prices.
